2007 Summer News
From the 16th
16th Liverpool Company Summer Camp

On Friday 20th July, 8 staff & 27 lads left Liverpool & after a pleasant drive to Skegness. However on arrival to the site the weather changed & down came the rain, so much so that we had to abandon the site as the field became a pond (as shown right). We had to take refuge in the local 'village community hall' until the Wednesday.

We finally returned to the site to enjoy the final two days under canvas, but as one of the boys commented "at least we had a two centre holiday for the price of one". More importantly although we could harp on regarding all the problems we had, we can thank God for keeping us safe, providing us with other accommodation, keeping morale high but most importantly, once again giving us the opportunity to teach the Gospel.

Royal Garden Party Stewards

Congratulations to the two young men from the 35th who were chosen to represent the North West District BB at a Royal Garden Party in July this year.

Also congratulations to Dave and Sheila Holmes for their representing the BB and being guests at the same Royal Garden Party.
